Explore miles of walking and cycling trails for all levels, or enjoy canoeing and kayaking on the scenic River Wye. For adventure, try rock climbing or abseiling. Discover local history at the Dean Heritage Centre and Hopewell Colliery (within 5 miles) or ride the Dean Forest and Perrygrove Railways (both within 10 miles).

Kids will love the magical Puzzlewood (8 miles), while Go Ape! (5 miles) offers treetop fun. For a relaxed day out, stroll Gloucester’s Victorian Docklands (15 miles), visit the cathedral, and shop at Gloucester Quays. Step inside through the spacious, well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar where you can plan the day’s adventures over coffee.
